Ooh La La

Escrito el Sabado, 25 de Marzo de 2006 a las 15:56 por Jon.
Dial up my number now
weaving it through the wire.

Switch me on,
turn me up,
don’t want it, Baudelaire,
just glitter lust.

Switch me on,
turn me up,
I want to touch you,
you’re just made for love.

I need la la la la la la,
I need ooh la la la la,
I need la la la la la la,
I need ooh la la la la…Coils up and round me
teasing your poetry.

Switch me on,
turn me up,
oh, child of Venus
you’re just made for love.

I need la la la la la la,
I need ooh la la la la,
I need la la la la la la,
I need ooh la la la la…

You know I walk for days,
I wanna waste some time,
you wanna be so mean,
you know I love to watch.

I wanna love some more,
it’ll never be the same,
a broken heel like a heart,
I’ll never walk again.

I need la la la la la la,
I need ooh la la la la,
I need la la la la la la,
I need ooh la la la la…

El equilibrio es imposible

Escrito el Martes, 14 de Marzo de 2006 a las 0:26 por Jon.
Confía en mí,
nunca has soñado poder gritar
y te enfureces,
es horrible el miedo incontenible.Entonces ven,
dame un pedazo,
no te conozco cuando dices:
qué felices,
qué caras más tristes,
qué caras más tristes…

Ella sabe y presiente
que algo ha cambiado,
dónde estás, no te veo,
es mejor, ya lo entiendo.

Ahora ya no me lamento,
no sigo detrás…

Ella no me imagina
cazando en los bares,
viviendo deprisa…

nunca has soñado poder gritar
y te enfureces,
es horrible el miedo incontenible.

Entonces ven,

The Masterplan

Letra:

Take the time to make some sense
of what you want to say
and cast your words away upon the waves.

Bring them back with Acquiesce
an a ship of hope today.

And as they fall upon the shore,
tell them not to fear no more.
Say it loud and sing it proud, and they…

Will dance if they want to dance,
please brother take a chance,
you know they’re gonna go,
which way they wanna go,
all we know is that we don’t know,
how is gonna be,
please, brother let it be,
life on the other hand won’t let you understand
why we’re all part of The Masterplan.

Say it loud and sing it proud, and they…

I’m not saying right is wrong,
it’s up to us to make
the best of all things that come our way.

‘Cause everything that’s been has past,
the answer’s in the looking glass,
there’s four and twenty million doors,
down life’s endless corridor,
say it loud and sing it proud and they…

Will dance if they want to dance…

Patrick Bateman

Escrito el Domingo, 29 de Enero de 2006 a las 20:47 por Jon.
He’s a real cool guy and he’s a hero of mine
Travis, rhinehart rolled into one cute son
Less than zero a grotesque nightmare
Subtly disturbing like normal behaviour

I understand nothing and I cannot speak
I’d walk in the park but the trees are diseased
No sweetheart and I am too confused
I only love my watch and my snake skin shoes

I feel so small in the supermarket queue
People seem to laugh at my choice of food
My personality is held together with sellotape
A loose fit just like a numb junkies hate

I pretty my face with all this cream and stuff
Ugliness inside much harder to cover up
I lack the thought to care about politics
Just do what I like ain’t that democratic

Genesis, Huey Lewis, Filofax, CD5
A backdrop to discuss over expensive wine
Didn’t even know when or why I should stop
I feel so stupid like a joke that belongs

I guess all psychos are made out of money
I cannot be saved as liberals keep telling me
I don’t wanna be understood I just wanna kill
Out of blandness I am your everyday thrill

Patrick Bateman
We are babies crippled in Christ
Patrick Bateman
Therefore I must be God
I must, I must be God

I touched your lips but now I just paint
Surface reflection all I desired babe
I am melancholy, flower cutting through stone
I am a crime everybody has at home

Papers hate me but they need my behaviour
The dignity amongst Hollywood Trivia
Escape is so cheap of alcohol and whores
Mines the sanity of exclusive gun laws

Art critics say porno’s easily obscene
Late show retards Dice Clay is true poetry
They’ve never tried living underneath the water
That’s real end of the century nausea

Patrick Bateman
We are babies crippled in Christ
Patrick Bateman
Therefore I must be god
I must, I must be god

Patrick Bateman
We are babies crippled in Christ
Patrick Bateman
I fucked God up the ass
I fucked God up the ass

I know

Escrito el Viernes, 20 de Enero de 2006 a las 0:58 por Jon.

I know you love the song but not the singer.
I know you’ve got me wrapped around your finger.
I know you want the sin without the sinner.
I know.
I know.

I know the past will catch you up as you run faster.
I know the last in line is always called a bastard.
I know the past will catch you up as you run faster.
I know.
I know.

I know you cut me loose in contradiction.
I know I’m all wrapped up in sweet attrition.
I know it’s asking for your benediction.
I know.
I know.

I know the past will catch you up as you run faster.
I know the last in line is always called a bastard.
I know the past will catch you up as you run faster.
I know.
I know.

I know the past will catch you up as you run faster.
I know the last in line is always called a bastard.
I know the past will catch you up as you run faster.
I know.
I know.

The lies you make me say

It’s a bit early in the midnight hour for me
to go through all the things that I want to be.
I don’t believe in everything I see,
ya know I’m blind, so why d’you disagree

So take me away, ‘cos I just don’t want to stay,
and the lies you make me say
are getting deeper every day.
These are crazy days, but they make me shine.
Time keeps rolling by

All around the world, you’ve got to spread the word,
tell them what you’ve heard,
we’re gonna make a better day.
All around the world, you’ve got to spread the word,
tell them what you’ve heard,
you know it’s gonna be OK.

So what you gonna do when the walls come falling down?
You never move, you never make a sound.
So where you gonna swim with the riches that you found?
If you’re lost at sea, I hope that you’ve drowned.

No change, I can’t change

‘Cause it’s a bittersweet symphony this life,
trying to make ends meet
you’re a slave to money then you die.
I’ll take you down the only road I’ve ever been down,
you know the one that takes you to the places where all the veins meet, yeah

No change, I can’t change,
I can’t change, I can’t change,
but I’m here in my mold,
I am here in my mold,
but I’m a million different people from one day to the next.
I can’t change my mold,
no, no, no…

Well I never pray, but tonight I’m on my knees, yeah
I need to hear some sounds that recognize the pain in me, yeah
I let the melody shine, let it cleanse my mind, I feel free now
But the airways are clean and there’s nobody singing to me now

No change, I can’t change,
I can’t change, I can’t change,
but I’m here in my mold,
I am here in my mold,
and I’m a million different people from one day to the next,
I can’t change my mold,
No, no, no, no, no, no, no (have you ever been down?)
I can’t change,
I can’t change it.

‘Cause it’s a bittersweet symphony this life,
trying to make ends meet
you’re a slave to money then you die.
I’ll take you down the only road I’ve ever been down,
you know the one that takes you to the places where all the veins meet, yeah

You know I can’t change, I can’t change,
I can’t change, I can’t change,
but I’m here in my mold,
I am here in my mold,
and I’m a million different people from one day to the next,
I can’t change my mold,
no, no, no, no, no…

I’ll take you down the only road I’ve ever been down,
I’ll take you down the only road I’ve ever been down

Yo no quise lastimarte,
solamente te dije que no.
No estarás acostumbrada
a sentirte rechazada.
OK, perdón, fue sin querer.

Yo no quise caminarte,
y llego el momento de correr.
Hay que salvar el alma,
pero con calma vas a poder.

Donde lloran las gaviotas
vamos juntos a llorar.
No te preocupes,
que no se te nota
que no sabes encajar.

Supongo que dolió un poco
si fue la primera vez,
pero hay que ser fuerte,
contra la corriente también.

Cuántas veces me dijeron que no
a mí y sobreviví.
Dame la mano y vení,
que te enseño a perder.

¿Por qué? ¿Por qué te pusiste así?
La próxima vez te digo que sí.
Igual somos amigos,
porque para enemigos
hay un montón de gente…
corriente.

Mucky Fingers

Escrito el Lunes, 20 de Junio de 2005 a las 13:30 por Jon.

I know you think you deserve an explanation on the meaning of life
But what you think that you heard slipped away at the back of your mind

You get your mucky fingers burnt
You get your truth or your lies you have learnt
And all your plastic believers they leave us and they won’t return

Walk on

And when you look in the mirror and your tying all your buttons and bows
And as you face your disease you can squeeze into the emperor’s clothes

You found your gun in a paperbag
You get your history from the Union Jack
And all your brothers and sisters have gone and they wont come back

Failed the life in the city
All the fonies that roam at night
When I’ve gone yeah you look like you missed me
So come along with me, don’t ask why

It’s alright
It’s alright
It’s alright
It’s alright
